Ner Tamid’s adult education focuses on teaching the basics of Judaism and creating open dialogue about the common issues facing Jews today. With a community primarily consisting of inter-faith marriages and a large number of people who were not raised in a synagogue, our program addresses different levels of knowledge, with the goal of helping build a strong understanding of the foundations of our faith. We offer a create a comfortable, non-intimidating environment in which to learn.

Current Adult Education Classes Include:

Judaism 101 with Rabbi Liebschutz
Whether you are already Jewish, wanting to take the first step towards conversion, or just looking for more information on Judaism, this course is for you!  

This is an 18 week course meeting Sundays from 3 to 5pm May-September.
