Our
Community
Familial. Intimate.
Genuine. Caring. Those are
the words most often used by our members to describe the Ner Tamid community.
One of the primary goals of our synagogue is to help our community create
strong, life-long relationships with fellow members and with Ner Tamid.
Throughout the year, we host a variety of
events
for our members and the community at large to promote relationships such
as our community Chanukah dinner, an annual BBQ & Pool Party, a Member's
Mixer, Sukkot picnic, and more. In addition to boding with each other,
our community reaches out to others through food drives, charity events and
other Tzedakah related events.
 Women’s
Group
The Ner Tamid Women’s Group is a warm,
caring, fun band of women from diverse backgrounds and ages. We get together to
socialize, participate in community service projects and to support each
other and the greater community as a whole. Upon become active
in our Women's group, you may find yourself participating in a leisurely wine
tasting, a weekend Women’s Group retreat, dinners out with friends and
get-togethers at members' homes.
Men’s
Group
Our Men’s Group
gets together
for social and community service activities such as Texas Hold ‘Em night,
paintball and Habitat for Humanity. The events are casual, and fun.
Youth
Groups
Ner Tamid Youth Groups will begin forming in the fall of 2007. Initially, we
will work as one large group for grades 6 – 12. Some activities
will be directly related to Judaism, whereas others will be for peer
camaraderie and fun.
50+ & Fabulous
This
fun, energetic social group is for synagogue members ages 50+. The
group gets together every few months for a social outing.
Ner News Monthly
Newsletter
Each month, our members, as well as those who have expressed
interest in our synagogue activities but have not yet joined, receive a copy
of Ner News Monthly, which gives highlights of the previous month's
events as well as news of upcoming activities. To subscribe or
